S.T.A.R.Fest

Six short productions, some comedic, some dramatic, competed for 1st and 2nd Place awards, which were presented on closing night. Winners are listed below.

In between acts, our MC, Gene Renfroe, a popular comic at clubs such as Zanies, entertained with his stand-up routine.

We'd like to thank our judges, Jean Fleszewski of the Daily Southtown newspaper, Aimee-Lynn Newlan of Imagination Theater, and Alan Ziebarth of the Chicago Public Library.

Alternate judges were veteran actors Kate Kisner and Mary Catherine McGreal Redmon.
