S.T.A.R. derives its income solely from box-office receipts and donations. No one connected with S.T.A.R. collects a salary at this time - no board member, actor, or technician. However, a theatre organization does need to offer at least nominal fees in order to interest qualified directors, musical accompanists (when required), and workshop instructors. Your name and/or company name will be listed in all the playbills of the season. In acknowledgement, season passes will be issued to contributors in certain categories as indicated below. If you'd like to dedicate your gift to the memory of a relative or friend who was a lover of the arts, just indicate this when you send your check. Your support in any amount will be greatly appreciated!

Its Articles of Incorporation are filed in the office of the Illinois Secretary of State. It is recognized by the Illinois Department of Revenue as a tax-exempt organization for the presentation of theatrical works, is registered with the Attorney General's office as such, and has been granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status by the Internal Revenue Service.
